Rose Town Tea Garden

A beautiful, stately Victorian-looking building is pleasantly situated on the Tama River in West Tokyo towards Okutama Lake. It was a former wedding chapel which was converted into the “Rose Town Tea Garden” on Oct. 2009. It is nestled in the midst of the tree-covered mountains of Ome. It features European style architecture complete with marble floors, ornate moldings in the ceiling and walls, and wall-mounted light sconces. We ordered the "Princess Heather Set" complete with soup of the day, garden salads, sandwiches, desserts, scones of the day, and 2 different types of tea.
