Dragon Falls

Ryuzu Waterfalls means "dragon head waterfall" in Japanese. The name comes from the shape of the falls which resembles the head of a dragon. The waterfall is located on Yukawa River, shortly before the river discharges into Lake Chuzenji. During the fall, the trees that flank the waterfall turn yellow and orange with large bursts of red, adding to the waterfall's fiery dragon-like appearance. We went during winter, so there is no fiery appearance, but a cold one instead.
