Takashi Murakami Exhibition: The 500 Arhats

I got to attend the solo exhibition of Takashi Murakami, the internationally acclaimed Japanese artist best known for his Superflat artistic style. This exhibition was held at the Mori Art Museum and was the first large-scale exhibition in Tokyo in fourteen years by the artist. Titled The 500 Arhats, the show featured a number of new works, as well as the artist’s 100-meter long painting of 500 Arhats, considered one of the largest artworks ever produced in the history of the arts.
